At Stanford Medicine, after a critical incident during a gastric bypass surgery, the surgical team utilized the OR Black Box to review the rapid response to the patient's cardiac arrest, revealing insights that led to improvements in communication and teamwork.

The OR Black Box not only aids in immediate incident analysis but also contributes to long-term quality improvement by reducing medical errors and fostering efficient practices.
